Peanut Butter Jelly Macaroni Cheese and Chips (PBJMC2) Sandwich
|
|
The point of this website is to share with you one of my favorite sandwiches, the
peanut butter jelly macaroni cheese and chips (PBJMC2) sandwich. I discovered this sandwich
while growing up. One day while having a lunch consisting of a PB&J sandwich,
macaroni and cheese, and chips I realized that I liked the taste when they were
all in my mouth. So I put the chips on the peanut butter side and the macaroni
and cheese on the jelly side and the PBJMC2 was born. I still enjoy this sandwich
today and it has become a favorite of my children (although I now use PB alternatives such as
SunButter®
due to a nut alergy in the family). Making a PBJMC2 is pretty
simple as explained above, but I like visual aids so you can find pictures and a more
detailed "recipe" below.

To make a PBJMC2 you'll need bread (or a torilla if you'd like it in a wrap instead of a
sandwich), peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese,
and chips (I prefer plain potato chips for the PBJMC2).
|
|
First spread the peanut butter and jelly on the bread. Then put the chips on the peanut butter
side (I smash them down a bit to make sure they stick). Next put the macaroni and cheese
on the jelly side. Finally, put the two sides together and enjoy!

|
To make the wrap/tortilla variant of the PBJMC2 you put peanut butter on half the torilla and
jelly on the other half of the tortilla. Similar to the standard bread version you add the
chips to the peanut butter side and the macaroni and cheese to the jelly side. Finally, you
roll it all up. I recommend rolling the tortilla starting with the peanut butter / chip end
so that you don't get poked by chips when you bite in and so that you get all four delicious
ingredients in every bite.

Once you have completed your PBJMC2 it will likely look like the middle picture below and you'll
likely look like the below satisfied customers.
